Unveiling a secret sunset spot in Valletta

When people think of the best sunset spots in Malta, Golden Bay often comes to mind, with its golden sands and stunning views during the golden hour. However, I recently discovered a hidden gem in Valletta that offers equally breathtaking sunset views.

Tucked away near Giannini Restaurant, right in the heart of Valletta, there’s a small parking area that might not seem like much at first glance. But don’t be fooled — this spot offers spectacular views of Valletta’s classic skyline, with the majestic Dome of Our Lady of Mount Carmel rising gracefully against the sky.

During a photoshoot in Valletta with one of my couples, I suggested we capture the sunset from this spot, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. The sky transformed into a stunning blend of purples and pinks, casting a golden glow over the historic buildings.

It was the perfect setting for some romantic photos, and to our delight, the couple surprised me with a polaroid camera, adding a vintage touch to the shoot. As a lover of artsy photography, I couldn’t have been happier.
